Today on 7th September 2022, 7 Directors of Emami Group (Aditya V Aggarwal, Manish Goenka, Sandeep Aggarwal, Gautam Jatia, S.N. Pal, Saurabh Dasgupta and Manoj Aggarwal) and 3 from East Bengal Club attended the first board meeting of Emami East Bengal Football Club. Directors (Debbrata Sarkar, Rupak Saha and Sadananda Mukherjee). East Bengal Club President Dr. Pranab Dasgupta also attended the meeting as a permanent invited member.
Board discussed and decided to work together for the improvement of the team performance and produce better results. A process was also adopted in today's meeting on how to properly develop youth football and how to build a good women's football team. Also in ISL, when the team will travel for away games, representatives from the club and company will also travel with team to encourage the team and coach.
