Today, 7th March 2022, the 59th Annual Sports Competition of East Bengal Club was held at East Bengal Club Grounds. The event got off to a good start with the hoisting of the club’s flag. Hon’ble Arup Biswas, Sports Minister, Government of West Bengal was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. From the stage of the competition, the East Bengal Club honored Mrs. Anima Brahma (Mukherjee), a renowned athlete of the seventies. Wreaths, mementos and certificates were handed over to him. Besides, all the athletics coaches of East Bengal Club were also honored.

34 events (hits, semifinals, finals) based on different ages were held from under 14 years. The best athletes from different districts of Bengal participated in this competition. Besides, various sports competitions are also organized for the students of East Bengal Club football school and their parents. There were also several competitions for club members.
