East Bengal Storm into IFA Shield Final with 2–0 Win Over Namdhari FC

East Bengal FC booked their place in the IFA Shield 2025 final with a commanding 2–0 victory over Namdhari FC at the Kishore Bharati Stadium on Tuesday.

The Red and Gold Brigade asserted control early in the game, dominating possession and creating several scoring opportunities. Their persistence paid off in the 19th minute, when Mohammad Bin Rashid found the back of the net with a well-placed finish to give East Bengal the lead.

Just before half-time, PV Vishnu doubled the advantage with a composed strike, putting East Bengal firmly in command. The second half saw the Kolkata giants maintain their defensive solidity, comfortably preserving their clean sheet to seal a deserved win.

With this victory, East Bengal advance to the IFA Shield final, continuing their impressive run in the tournament and edging closer to another prestigious title.
