The traditional Barpujo was held at the East Bengal Club on the first day of the Bengali year. This program started at 7.50 am on Friday according to the schedule. The Hony. Asst. Secretary Mr.Rupak Saha along with the Hony. Football Secretary Mr. Saikat Ganguly, the Hony.Ground Secretary Mr. Saroj Bhattacharya, the Hony.Accountant Mr. Sadananda Mukherjee, the Hony.Executive Committee Member Mr.Debabrata Sarkar and all the members of the Executive Committee were present on the occasion. The Former footballers respected Mr. Prashant Banerjee, Mr.Bhaskar Ganguly, Mr.Ranjit Mukherjee, Mr.Bikash Panji, Mr.Mihir Basu, Mr.Tarun Dey, Mr.Alok Mukherjee, Mr.Biswajit Bhattacharya, Mr.Sumit Mukherjee, Mr.Tushar Rakshita, Mr.Gautam Ghosh, Mr.Shankarlal Chakraborty, Mr.Bijan Chakraborty, Mr.Sunirmal Chakraborty, Mr.Sanjay Majhi, Mr.Alok Das, Mr.Amit Das, Mr.Ranjan Chowdhury, Mr.Sadiq, Mr.Chanchal Bhattacharya, Mr.Gopal Das, Mr.Rahim Nabi, Mr.Falguni Dutta, Mr.Mehtab Hossain, Mr.Swapan Bose, Mr.Debjit Ghosh, Mr.Surya Bikash Chakraborty , Mr. Madhab Das and former cricketer Mr. Arup Bhattacharya were also present. The junior Footballers from East Bengal Football School were also present. The Club members and supporters were also present in this program.

At the end of the Barpujo ceremony, the club flag was hoisted by the former players and the club executives.

Like every year, sweets are distributed among all the members and supporters present at Barpujo.

There was also a delicious luncheon arranged for all.
